2016 Races and Events Report of Hellenic Triathlon Federation (H.T.F)
The racing year of 2016 for the Hellenic Triathlon Federation was completed with exceptional success. In 2016 were held more races than any other year, 14 in total number along with a Children Triathlon Training Camp that took place in Loutraki which was also met with total success. The organizations mentioned above are those that were basically set up by H.T.F. or events in which H.T.F. had definitive role and active participation with its technical knowledge and executive members. Organizations that were simply under the Agis of H.T.F. are not mentioned.
Some very interesting numbers that come up:
– 15 events were held in 8 different States of Greece.
– 9 events included kids races, in which more than 200 children competed.
– 3000 was the total number of participations, with approximately 1500 unique participants.
– 215 average participants per race.

*All the above numbers were based on the organization’s official results. For this purpose only the participations of multisport races were taken into account, excluding additional individual races that maybe were also included in the event’s schedule. For the total number of participations only the valid registrations were taken into account.
